Fido is the living embodiment of a philosophy believed but not necessarily exemplified by his vaguely neurotic creators, Joanna Ferrone and Sue Rose. Everyone seems to think that he was born when he was doodled on a cocktail napkin. But the truth is Fido existed before he was drawn. He just needed somebody to put pen to paper and get him going. Once that happened (big deal right?) the creators ceased to have any control over his actions.
